What is Express Entry?
Express Entry is Canada's application management system for three federal economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.
How Does It Work?
The Express Entry system uses a points-based Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) to rank candidates. Points are awarded based on factors such as age, education, language proficiency, and work experience.
CRS Score Breakdown
- Core human capital factors: up to 500 points
- Spouse or common-law partner factors: up to 40 points
- Skill transferability factors: up to 100 points
- Additional points: up to 600 points
